White beach, Boracay Island, Philippines

Yes, this island will literally take your breath away. With its beautiful coastline, clear warm waters, and powder-fine white sand, the Philippines’ Boracay Island continues to attract thousands of tourists every year.

While the beach is the main attraction, Boracay also offers endless possibilities for recreation and adventure ranging from parasailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, jet skiing, zip lining, kayaking, the famous helmet diving, and a lot more.

I can’t stress this enough but you should never miss the sunset in Boracay. Whether you’re a photographer or you just want to sit back and enjoy this peaceful time, catching the sunset in this paradise is life-changing. Although I wasn’t able to take photos, I can guarantee you that it will be one of the most beautiful moments you will ever experience.

And, after a very fun and exciting day, this island transforms into a night of drinking, partying and dancing. Whether you’re a party person or not, Boracay offers a variety of ways for you to kickstart your night. From dining at some great restaurants along the beach and listening to some relaxing music to watching fire dancing and party hardy, you have it all.

Enjoy!

  1. This place does look so amazing. I have seen quite a lot of pictures of it recently and its high on my list of places to visit. There looks there is so much to do there too, can’t wait :-)

  2. Gorgeous pictures! I’m not one for lazing about sunbathing (can’t tan!) so I like the sound of the more adventurous things to do there. And cocktails at sundown sound perfect!

  3. Wow Boracay looks amazing! We have recently just been to the Philippines but only to Manila and Palawan. Palawan was amazing and everything we expected of the Philippines but we would love to go back one day to see other places, especially Boracay!

    1. Awww…thank you, Dr. Lisa!
      Come visit Boracay too.
There’s so much more to see than these photos I posted here :)

  4. I dunno – you make it sound terribly dangerous, with this “literally take your breath away” business. I like breathing…

I’m just teasing. It looks beautiful! What on earth is “helmet diving”? You say it’s famous, but it’s the one thing on the list I haven’t heard of! I love parasailing and swimming in the ocean (Are there many sharks? Is the water warm?)

Thanks for sharing – and the pictures are great! (I love travel blogs that show real pictures, not stock photos that could make a rathole look like paradise.) Very nice, very tempting!

    1. Hahaha! oh Holly, you crack me up!
This place is a paradise and i really recommend adding this to your bucket list.
“Helmet Diving” is walking on the seafloor wearing a diving helmet which enables you to breathe normally under the water while enjoying the marine life.
It sounds cool, right? It can be scary at first, though.
And don’t worry, there are no sharks!
      Thank you for dropping by!
I love seeing real photos too. They inspire me more. :)

    1. Yes :)
I really hope you can visit Boracay someday.
Its beaches are so beautiful especially the famous White Beach :)
